I’m Elli, your friendly neighborhood photographer.

I’ve been described as a combination of Type A and Type B. I’m a perfectionist and a get-it-done kind of person, but above all I want you to feel comfortable, and it takes a lot to get me rattled. I’ll never push you or rush you; I’m there to capture your story.

I pull a lot of inspiration from my grandparents’ wedding album. It’s a beautiful combination of happy candids that capture their personalities perfectly, and gorgeous formals of their families. When I photograph a wedding, this album is always at the back of my mind; I’m thinking of who you are now and how I can communicate that story to someone looking at your wedding album 20, 30 or 50 years from now. I believe that photography should be able to recreate whole moments in time for you.

My approach to shooting is to help guide you towards being your natural self and feeling as comfortable as possible. I’ll always tell you if something looks uncomfortable or if the lighting is off, but my goal is always to celebrate the genuine. Every relationship is different!
